18 Years Addicted, Set Free by Grace | Jeff’s Testimony

For 18 years, Jeff fought a battle he thought nobody else could understand.

It started with something that was done to him as a child. It followed him from Ghana to the UK, and by 11 he was caught in lust and pornography addiction. He gave his life to Christ at 13, but the struggle didn't stop. It raged through his teenage years and into university.

"I came to realise that it was all a lie of the enemy, to keep me feeling lonely, to keep me feeling bound, afraid, in guilt and in shame."

Then God met him in worship and in Paul's words about the thorn in his side: "My grace is sufficient for you." That word gave Jeff the courage to speak up, to find brothers who hold him accountable, and to see the cycle broken.

"By His grace and grace alone, that cycle was broken."
